Polizeibeamte der Inspektion Falkensee haben in der Nacht zu Sonntag Verkehrsüberwachungsmaßnahmen durchgeführt. In der Ringpromenade kontrollierten die Beamten einen Pkw-VW und dessen Fahrer. Bei der Überprüfung des Fahrers erweckte dieser den Eindruck unter dem Einfluss von Alkohol zu stehen. Ein durchgeführter Atemalkoholtest bestätigte den Anfangsverdacht der Beamten mit einem Wert von 1,07 Promille. Der Fahrer musste sich daraufhin einer ärztlichen Blutprobenentnahme unterziehen. Neben einer Strafanzeige wegen Trunkenheit im Verkehr wurde Führerschein des Mannes beschlagnahmt und ihm die Weiterfahrt untersagt.
