Am Samstag wurde durch einen Nachbarn ein aufgebrochenes Fenster an einem Einfamilienhaus in der Riesaer Straße in Falkensee festgestellt. Die Eigentümer befanden sich zu diesem Zeitpunkt im Urlaub.
Bei der Prüfung, durch die Polizei, bestätigte sich der Einbruch. Die derzeit unbekannten Täter durchsuchten das Haus intensiv nach Wertsachen.
Durch die Kriminaltechnik der Polizei Brandenburg wurde eine umfangreiche Spurensuche durchgeführt. Es konnte DNS, Faserspuren sowie Gegenstände gesichert werden, welche als Spurenträger infrage kommen.
Ein Ermittlungsverfahren wegen Wohnungseinbruchsdiebstahl wurde eingeleitet.
